Episode 9: Issue 9 - The Diplomat

Joes, Attenhut!
Fall in!

Presenting for your listening pleasure, Episode 9: Issue 9 - The Diplomat

This time, Aaron, Ryan, and Kyle talk about Free Comic Book Day.

http://www.freecomicbookday.com/

Free Comic Book Day has three main purposes:

To introduce everyone to the joys of reading comics.
To call back former comic book readers.
To thank current comic book buyers for their continued support.

Publishers produce special edition comics geared to attracting new non-comic readers. There is a wide diversity of comics available, from traditional comics fare like Archie and Disney, super-heroes from Marvel and DC, manga from Tokyopop, as well as work from independent publishers.

  1. Just listened to the podcast. Great show as always! The art in the IDW Joes vs Transformers comic is not my cup of tea, here I was thinking I was alone in not liking the art. That and the fact that Snake Eyes is speaking, makes this series my least favorite Joe series. I did buy all comics though, you have to support the local Comic Book Store and what can I say, I'm a Joe fan, so I could not buy it...

Keep up the good work guys!
